1ST ANNIVERSARY OF MY SPACEครบรอบ 1 ปี My Space
Today (June 7, 2006) is the 1st anniversary of my space. The name of the first blog is “Yesterday”, published on June 7, 2005 at 04.55.51 p.m. At that time I had no idea how other people could create such beautiful spaces. I didn’t even know what to write or what space was for. Coincidentally, I was listening to “Yesterday” song by The Beatles. I then put the lyrics of this song to my first blog as you have seen.
From that day, I have been studying what MSN Spaces can do in details by both visiting other spaces and MSN Spaces website so that I have learned quite a lot. I thought, though I had no knowledge about computer before, it would not be too difficult for me to learn. The very first spaces I visited, which made me eager to create my own space, are Mui’s Space and Mew’s Space. Thank you very much to the owners of both spaces. If I had not visited these spaces, I would not have my space as you see today.
For anyone who just start blogging and come here to read my writing, I’d like to tell you what I’ve got from my space where I have been spending a lot of time to develop during one full year so that you can make up your mind if you will continue or quit. First thing I’ve got from my space is web design and blog (Web log) writing by using HTML as source codes. That made me learn what HTML is for. It is not difficult for anyone who doesn’t have basic knowledge. What you should do is to pay attention to them. Currently, Edit Blog Entry module helps a lot for writing your blog. There are both HTML mode and normal view mode for you to create.
Besides technical knowledge that we can get from blogging, it seems to us that we also have our own website without paying any money for domain name. We can use our space as a communication tool between our relatives, friends, or even other people who can access the net provided that we set space permission to public. This makes us have more and more friends, which we may not have in the real world.
If we create good blogs with interesting stuff, more visitors will come and see. As a result, we can exchange any ideas with others who left us their comments. The number of visitors more or less is not more important than the valuable comments and ideas or any suggestions from different points of view, which is the most important. When someone spent their time on reading what we wrote intentionally and then left their comments for you, I always treat these comments as my precious things that cannot be bought by money.
From exchanging our comments more and more frequently, this would make us know each other. Then, we may chat via MSN Messenger, which, I think, is different from general chat room where we don’t even know whom we chat with. But for MSN Messenger, almost all people we already know who they are from their spaces. So, we can chat with them without worry. That will bring us good relationship on this cyber world, where there is no separation of sex, age, race, religion, or social status. I believe that this is a pure relationship, which we hardly find in the real world.
However, both MSN Spaces and internet have both positive and negative sides. It depends on how we use them. If we use it in a positive and creative way, I think internet is an alternative way that can make us happy. On the other hand, if we use it in improper way, we may sometimes get in troubles.
Thank you to everyone who has been following up and read my story in each blog. Some are serious and some are non-sense. Every comment, recommendation, and suggestion is the most valuable to me and makes me keep on developing my space. Comments (164)
